Competing in all sports growing up before focusing on track and field in 1999, Roger went on to win 4 state titles in high school and compete in Division 1 and professional stage. He trained at the Olympic training center for high altitude in Flagstaff, Arizona from 2006 to 2008 before working at the Village.

Mark Campbell
Mark graduated from Arizona State University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. He has been a personal trainer in the valley since 1995 and has worked at the Village since 2000.

Ed Duke
A personal trainer since 1993, Ed has been a trainer with the Village since 1996. Ed was a high school wrestling coach for 25 years and track coach for 10 years. Prior to careers in teaching, coaching and personal training, Ed was a United States Marine from 1969-1971. Ed graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in special education/adaptive physical education.

Ed led 5 consecutive division wrestling championships, 13 top 10 Arizona State Team wrestling finishes and 43 division and state championships in wrestling and track. He also trained members of the 1992 U.S. Olympic wrestling team.

Iris Gordon
Iris has a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Gonzaga University. Iris has worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years. She has worked in corporate fitness, strength and conditioning and in health clubs. Iris has worked for Nike and Universal Studios.

Justin Harper
Justin was a student athlete at the University of South Dakota and graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Recreation and graduated in 2010 with a master’s degree in Exercise Science. He served one year as an assistant strength and conditioning intern at the University of South Dakota where he worked with all varsity sports and in charge of the women’s tennis team. Justin served as a strength and conditioning intern at Arizona State University where he worked with the football team.

Justin took 1st place in the 2012 NASA Arizona State Championships in bench press and dead lift in the 181 lb. weight class in power sports division. He played defensive back at FCS University of South Dakota where he started for the Coyotes and helped win a NCC conference championship.

Dan Hejl
Dan earned a degree from the University of Minnesota in kinesiology. He has been a personal trainer for 10 years and enjoys working with all ages and experience levels. Sports specific training is his real passion!

Todd Hinsberger 
Todd has trained at the Camelback Village since 1995. A student athlete at Arizona State University, Todd earned a degree in exercise science and worked as a student strength coach with all varsity sports.

Todd has an extensive background in sports specific training. He has interned for the Phoenix Cardinals, the Chicago Cubs and the Arizona Rattlers. Todd also spent a year working as an exercise physiologist, specializing in the area of work hardening and work recovery.

Lindsay Hyzer
Lindsay holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University in exercise science. Lindsay has a strong focus on posture and form. This is great for clients wanting to focus on improving posture and alignment of those clients needing rehabilitation exercises combined with traditional strength training. She has a gentle approach delivering results.

Linda Lawyer
Linda graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in health youth leadership and physical education. She received a master’s degree in exercise physiology with a minor in nutrition. She has worked in the fitness industry for over 15 years as a personal trainer, physical therapist aid, swim teacher and water aerobics instructor.

Shanae Lee
Shanae has a bachelor’s of science degree from University of Utah and has been a personal trainer for 5 years. She has been helping people effectively achieve their fitness goals whether one-on-one or by doing group training. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and fitness levels. Shanae’s specialties are weight loss, prenatal and postnatal athletic conditioning, functional training and cardio coaching. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, biking and playing outside with her two girls.

Lia Pulver

Lia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Massachusetts and a master’s degree in exercise physiology, specializing in cardiac rehabilitation and adult fitness, from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse. Lia competed in swimming for the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she earned a scholarship and was captain. Lia enjoys working with cancer, cardiac, osteoporosis, pregnancy and older adults.

Kelly graduated from Arizona State University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She started training at the Village in 2002. Kelly enjoys many activities including running, spinning, hiking and snow skiing.

Ryan Udarbe
Ryan graduated with a bachelor’s of science in exercise science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Ryan trains a vast array of clientele including power lifters, Olympic-style weight lifters, high school athletes, seniors, golfers and expecting mothers. Ryan has worked with athletes of all ages specializing in power and speed development. Specialties include weight loss, bodybuilding/sculpting, prenatal and postnatal fitness and post-rehab exercise.

Paige Warren
Paige owned a personal training studio located in Scottsdale for 6 years. She specializes in working with people who experience pain due to muscular imbalances and posture problems. She is excellent with people who are new or returning to an individual exercise program. She offers every clients hands-on flexibility training which gives the client time to relax and relieve stress. Paige enjoys watching baseball, bike riding and walking her dog. She loves to dance west coast swing and competes locally at the Greater Phoenix Swing Dance Club.
