The Phoenix Motor Company and Camelback Village Racquet and Health CLub Mercedes Holiday Racquet Sports Tournament
Tournament Dates – Nov. 20th – 24th, 2013
Welcome to the Southwest’s premiere tennis, squash and racquetball tournament with prize money in excess of $30,000!
This will be the sixth year of a very successful partnership between Phoenix Motor Company and Camelback Village Racquet and Health Club. The tournament started in 2008 with just tennis, in 2010 squash was introduced, and racquetball was added in 2011. All tournament events will be played at Camelback Village Racquet and Health Club which is located at 4444 E. Camelback Rd. in Phoenix, Arizona.
Between the three sports, there will be over 500 participants and over the five day period, over 3000 players and spectators will be coming through the doors.
The tennis component will have over 16 different divisions ranging from 3.5 players all the way to the Open level featuring many national and world ranked players.
Squash will feature 64 players competing in an Olympic format; as well as a WSA (Women’s Professional) division where 20 world ranked players will participate for world ranking points. The tournament will also feature 8 top ranked Open level players from all over the country.
Racquetball will host four 16 player draws: Open, A, B and C as well as an 8 player draw for women and doubles.
Prize money will be paid to winners and division finalists in most of the event’s draws.
