The Village Health Clubs offer early morning group runs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in Scottsdale. We host a long run (steady mostly flat), track/speed workout, and a hill run.
Village Triathlon Coordinator and Coach Abby Luedecke can provide training plans/coaching for beginner to advanced athletes. Abby is a level 1 USAT and Ironman U certified Triathlon Coach specializing in individualized programs to fit your life and ability level. Abby leads weekly group runs, rides, and coaches the Wednesday noon Master Swim class at Camelback Village.
Lewis comes to us from Montana and has been an elite cyclist and triathlete since 1996. He has been the lead masters swim coach at Gainey Village since 2004. Lewis also leads our Wednesday group track workouts, and is here to help you reach your goals as a triathlete.
The Village Health Clubs in Phoenix and Scottsdale partner with TriScottsdale and No Woman Left Behind (NWLB) to offer group cycling to our members. Triathlon Coordinator Abby Luedecke also leads rides on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Jane has been swimming competitively since she was eight years old. She set numerous school records in the pool growing up, but now loves open water swimming – she’ll be swimming in the 70.3 Triathlon World Championship in Australia this Fall!
George swam the breaststroke in college under legendary swim coach Franke Keefe, but found his true love in sport when he took up triathlon in 1983. With his wife Jane, George will also be competing in the 70.3 Triathlon World Championship in Australia this Fall.
Kim loves to use the pool and her experience competing in triathlons to develop obtainable goals for her clients. Kim teaches individual and group swim lessons, swim clinics and Master Swim workouts at Gainey Village and DC Ranch Village. She also loves competing in open water swim events!
Klas is a USAT Level I Coach focused on creating confident, efficient swimmers and has taught for more than five years. Klas teaches Masters Swim, swim lessons and holds junior triathlon clinics at DC Ranch Village.

From an ex-college swimmer to competing in over 75 multi-sport events, from sprint to Ironman triathlons, Shawn draws on his experiences to coach his athletes. In addition to working with the master’s program and teaching private lessons at The Village Health Clubs, he has 18 years of high school coaching experience. As a coach, his focus and strength is stroke analysis and technique work.
