One of the most beautiful things about yoga is that there is something for just about everyone. We all have an idea and image of what yoga looks or feels like. While there are numerous styles and types of traditional yoga – many of which are offered at the Village clubs – there are also yoga/fitness fusion classes. BUTI Yoga is one of those new blended styles. The BUTI Yoga system is designed for women to express and feel good about themselves through the practice of traditional flow yoga with a bit of a twist – sequencing is blended with a bit of tribal dance, lots of hip and core movement, and even a plyometric cardio element. Participants will SWEAT, tone and leave with a smile. Every Wednesday, the Village Workout Wednesday on ABC 15 Midday News features a different Village fitness demonstration – BUTI Yoga was the topic for this week’s workout! Jaime, Patricia and Josie are demonstrating half bound lotus in a standing position, along with a fun, non-traditional hand movement. You will find many creative and effective yoga and fitness fusion poses in our BUTI Yoga classes.
