Jeffrey Smallwood

Jeffrey grew up playing at the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education Center in Philadelphia, PA where he later began working as an NJTL (National Junior Tennis League) tennis instructor for inner city youth. AAYTC later changed their name to Legacy Youth Tennis and Education where he started teaching children from red-ball to high school players headed to college. Before joining Camelback Village, Jeffrey served as a traveling coach for ATP players on tour training at the Saddle Brook Tennis Resort in Wesley Chapel, FL. Before that, he worked in Wuxi, China as director of tennis for the Rush Young Tennis Company. During college, Jeffrey worked for Nike Tennis Camps in Florida and Dartmouth College (KJTC) Tennis Camp. After college, he moved to Los Angeles where he began working for Sampras Brown Tennis Camp at UCLA and The Riviera Country Club. In his college days, Jeffrey played for Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. Jeffrey played both #1 doubles and #6 singles. “Tennis is just like life.
