Thomas Erickson


Thomas is a native Oregonian and University of Oregon graduate with a bachelors’ degree in human physiology with a pre-physical therapy focus. He specializes in rehabilitative and injury prevention exercise and resistance training. Growing up as a competitive athlete, Thomas has always had a strong focus on diet and exercise to maximize health and wellness. Having spent time as a competitive youth soccer coach, physical therapy aide, and personal trainer, Thomas has experience with people of all ages and fitness levels. He has a strong passion for helping others reach and surpass their goals.


Tony Troftgruben

Tony is an extremely passionate personal trainer, nutrition coach, and group fitness instructor. Because of his passion, he worked hard to receive a bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University in fitness wellness and health education. He is ACE-PT certified, Precision Nutrition certified, ALPHA Training certified, and ZUU Bronze Trainer certified. Tony loves sports and played football and baseball in college. He also loves being outdoors hunting or competing in outdoor obstacle course races. Lastly, he really enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Aaron graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science.



Fitness Specializations and Interests

Aaron started his career in the fitness industry as a part-time trainer while attending college. Within his first professional year as a trainer he was promoted to Assistant Department Head overseeing a team of trainers. Upon completion of his degree he was promoted to the position of Personal Training Department Head which included overseeing all aspects of the personal training business. In Aaron’s almost two decades of experience he has trained professional athletes, teenagers, seniors and everyday people trying to make a positive change. He has personally planned, developed and implemented many high level corporate programs for multiple organizations yielding extremely positive results. Aaron enjoys coaching and developing people personally, professionally and physically. He joined the Village team in 2015 with over 17 years of experience in fitness. Aaron strives to live by the Rock’s mantra “be humble, be hungry and always be the hardest worker in the room.”

Kevin Shepard

Kevin graduated with a bachelor’s of science in physical education from the University of Colorado and a master’s of science in kinesiology from the University of Colorado.
