Preston Hale

Ocotillo Village Personal Trainer

NSCA-CSCS, CAFS, IYCA-Speed and Agility Specialist

Preston is a graduate and former D1 football player of Alabama State University.  For the previous five years he has trained a wide range of athletes ranging from youth, high school and professional teams, including the Arizona Cardinals. Preston also specializes in post-therapy reconditioning with a prime focus on functional movement. Additionally, Preston is a 6A varsity high school football coach, but whether he is on the field coaching or in the club with members, he is 100% committed to each client’s success.

Preston strives for continued knowledge in all components of health and fitness.  No matter your fitness level or goals, you can be sure he will create a personalized program to meet your needs. Preston practices Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai and loves combat sports. From time to time he will test his skills and compete in tournaments.  Preston also loves playing guitar and piano, including playing the piano for his church for five years.

Josh Roeckner

Josh acquired his bachelor’s degree in exercise and wellness from Arizona State University. Josh’s main focuses are in strength training, bodybuilding, functional training, and weight loss programming. Josh believes in practicing what he preaches and will never provide a workout or program that he has not tried himself. He is constantly seeking out new ways to increase his knowledge in the fitness field to provide exceptional programs for his clients.

When Josh isn’t in the gym improving on his fitness, he spends much of his time with his family in Scottsdale where he grew up. He also enjoys traveling to new places, attending concerts and spending time with his dog.

Michael Sheffield

Michael graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. During his 10+ years of experience he has worked with young and adult athletes, physique competitors, people with disabilities, post rehabilitation, and the elderly. He enjoys instructing boot camps, boxing programs, and women’s self-defense.

Michael has expertise in boxing, capoeira, tae kwon do, and other combat arts. He has coached many individuals to win local weight loss and body composition contests. Michael loves using free weights, punching bags, kBox3, Olympic barbells, TRX, sleds, and other functional equipment to help you become the best version of yourself.

Jasmyn Anderson

Ocotillo Village Personal Trainer

Jasmyn Anderson graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and wellness from Arizona State University. She has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years working as a personal trainer, fitness instructor, youth strength coach, and running coach. She has provided sport-specific training in volleyball, track, football, soccer, swimming, and wrestling for both youth and high school athletes.

Jasmyn has completed 10 marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and several half marathons. She has helped all levels of runners train and prepare for races from 5k’s to marathons. She loves to help clients stay t and healthy during pregnancy, as well as training them to get back into shape post-baby.

Devon Zajicek

Devon was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and attended college at Arizona State University, where she pursued degrees in Culinary, Nutrition Dietetics, and Exercise & Wellness. She has 16 years of experience in dance and three years experience in the training industry with kettlebells and bootcamps.

Devon believes all of life’s challenges are opportunities for growth. One of her greatest challenges was experiencing a traumatic knee injury 5 years ago.  This set in motion her life mission—to inspire others to change their lives through physical fitness.

“Health and well-being are at the foundation of everything we do. It takes personal integrity, discipline and dedication to stick with a healthy lifestyle,” she says. “I believe the key to this success is by building a solid foundation in the beginning while encompassing all the eight dimensions of wellness. I am passionate about using correct form, proper technique, and injury prevention in a fun environment. I believe that we all, regardless of our current conditioning, are able to achieve the goals that we have for ourselves. With consistency and perseverance, anything is possible.”

Devon’s main areas of focus include injury prevention, sports performance enhancement, flexibility program design, athletic competitors, kettlebells, bodybuilding, powerlifting and strength training, dancing, fat loss, and laughter.

Faye Del Mundo

Faye is a certified personal instructor and has been in the fitness industry since 2008. She’s a long distance runner and a triathlete. She also enjoys teaching group fitness classes.

When it comes to personal training, each program Faye creates is tailored to the clients’ unique individual needs, strengths and weaknesses, fitness level, lifestyle and personal goals. As she always says, “the best exercise is the one that you will do.” Faye also values the importance of functional movement in improving activities of daily living and enhancing quality of life.

Faye was born overseas and grew up in the Midwest. For school, she started with commercial aviation and ended with a degree she’s passionate about: exercise and wellness. she also loves to travel and has lived in multiple countries.

She hopes to help others improve their quality of life through an active and healthy lifestyle.

Fitness Director: Emily Callison

Emily grew up in Mesa, AZ and graduated from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor’s of science in exercise science, wellness, and physical education and continued her education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha earning her master’s degree in exercise science with an emphasis in strength and conditioning.

Fitness Specializations and Interests

Emily has a diverse training background. She was a strength and conditioning coach for college athletes and also ran specialized fitness classes for individuals who wanted to manage and prevent chronic diseases and conditions such as diabetes, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and osteoporosis. In addition, Emily has led group exercise classes for cancer survivors and has experience in the rehab setting. She enjoys creating well-balanced programs to help clients reach their specific goals and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Emily played D1 tennis for the University of North Dakota. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, being active outside, and weight training.
