Rachel graduated from Northern Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She has experience working with NAU’s collegiate football, soccer, volleyball, and dance athletes.

Rachel specializes in sport-specific, core, balance and flexibility training, strength and power performance, nutrition counseling, and youth training. She grew up competing as a figure skater and coaches figure skating through the Professional Skaters’ Association. In her spare time she enjoys figure skating, dancing, fashion, painting, fly fishing and cooking.

Mimi Quinn

Camelback Village Personal Trainer

LMT, NASM-CPT, NASM-CES

Mimi earned her bachelor’s degree in sport management and her master’s degree in exercise science with a concentration in rehabilitation science from California University of Pennsylvania.  For more than 10 years, she has been a personal trainer working with individuals one-on-one and in small group settings.  In addition to her training certifications, Mimi is also a licensed massage therapist and utilizes her manual therapy skills to further enhance the training and recovery experience.

As a corrective exercise specialist, Mimi works with her clients to improve and enhance the skillful execution of movement, enabling clients to return to and excel in their favorite sports and activities. Mimi also specializes in sport-specific training with a particular interest in kickboxing, a sport in which she competed at the amateur level for several years.

Jack Spencer

Jack was born and raised here in Phoenix, Arizona and earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Arizona State University. He has been involved in a wide range of sports his entire life.  After high school, Jack discovered a passion for kickboxing and strength training and enjoys training both one-on- one and group settings.  Jack enjoys balancing a wide range of training styles to accomplish his clients goals, including strength training, Intervals, functional movements, and hypertrophy training.

Jack trained in Muay Thai for many years, but developed a love for power lifting during college. Although he rather be in the strength room, Jack enjoys trying new workout activities and pushing himself out of his comfort zone.

Drew Cesarini

Drew graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise and wellness. As a former 2 sport athlete in college, Drew understands the importance of injury prevention and functional training. He received his Certificate of Applied Functional Science from the Gray Institute, where he learned to create different movements in all three planes of motion using fundamental movements like reaching, lunging, squatting, pushing and pulling. Drew vows to put forth high levels of physical and mental effort to grow in personal capacity, so he can contribute to the well being of others.

Dan Hejl

Dan earned a degree from the University of Minnesota in kinesiology.  He has been a personal trainer for 10 years and enjoys working with all ages and experience levels. Sports specific training is his real passion!

Rochelle Walter

Rochelle graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. As a former athlete she has endured many sports injuries and has had a passion to help others not only recover, but achieve top physical performance. Rochelle has been teaching group fitness classes since 2006 and has been personal and group training since 2012. She also has experience with physical therapy as she was a tech for two years and had the privilege of working with Muhammad Ali. She enjoys weight, circuit, and interval training and also likes to incorporate kickboxing and body weight exercises to keep the body guessing.

Rochelle played varsity basketball and track all four years of high school and still enjoys playing in local leagues. She also enjoys hiking and exercising outdoors, but her favorite place to be is the weight room.

Jerry Stotko

Physical fitness has always been a way of life for Jerry. He derives a great deal of satisfaction training people and seeing the results they attain. In some cases Jerry witnesses a total change in his clients lives.

Jerry has won the Master Body Contest in Las Vegas, has been the Camelback Village Shining S.T.A.R. of the Month, Club Sports International Outstanding Associate of the Year in 1999 and Colorado Athletic Club Employee of the Year in 1998.

Megan Smith – Fitness Director

Megan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Texas Tech and continued her education at Texas Tech earning her master’s degree in strength and conditioning. Between 2006-2010, Megan played soccer for the University of Texas Tech and was the Texas Tech Female Athlete of the Year in 2010. Megan enjoys being active outside (hiking and cycling), traveling, snowboarding, boating, and running her dog.

Megan has worked with athletes at the Division 1 collegiate level,coaching proper techniques in strength and Olympic lifts, speed, power, agility and conditioning development, but really enjoys motivating clients to live a healthy fit life. Megan has participated in Crossfit, running events (5K & 10K), Sprint Triathlons and Olympic Triathlons.

Naci Melzer

Naci graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology. She moved from Minnesota to Phoenix and started training at the Village in 1998.

Naci played college volleyball and basketball. She ran the Chicago marathon and completed several distance running and road bike races. Naci enjoys running, hiking, biking and rollerblading.

Monique Machiz

Monique graduated from Whittier College in Whittier, California with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Chemistry and was inducted into the national honors society for Kinesiology. She has experience in both group and one-on-one training as well as coaching young female athletes in a team setting. Monique is passionate about training and is always eager to learn about new modalities of exercise as well as helping her clients stay motivated and adopt healthy lifestyles. Her training arsenal includes kettlebells, functional training, corrective exercise, weight loss and strength training and conditioning. she enjoys meeting new people, staying fit and playing with her dog.

Peter Love

Peter graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education. He has been involved in sports his whole life including playing semi-professional baseball in the Canadian Baseball League. He has also coached high school baseball and has also been an elementary school physical education teacher. He enjoys using a combination of circuit, weight, interval and functional training methods to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Linda Lawyer

Linda graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in health youth leadership and physical education. She received a master’s degree in exercise physiology with a minor in nutrition. She has worked in the fitness industry for over 15 years as a personal trainer, physical therapist aid, swim teacher and water aerobics instructor.

Todd Hinsberger

Todd has trained at the Camelback Village since 1995. A student athlete at Arizona State University, Todd earned a degree in exercise science and worked as a student strength coach with all varsity sports.

Todd has an extensive background in sports specific training. He has interned for the Phoenix Cardinals, the Chicago Cubs and the Arizona Rattlers. Todd also spent a year working as an exercise physiologist, specializing in the area of work hardening and work recovery.

Mark Campbell

Mark graduated from Arizona State University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. He has been a personal trainer in the valley since 1995 and has worked at the Village since 2000.
