At Gainey Village XFit Sport, our coaches have over a combined 50 years in the fitness industry. We utilize that experience and our exceptional education to present programming to our members that allows each participant to develop in a balanced and healthy environment.
We believe not only in taking our members to their highest fitness level, but also creating a progressive educational experience. We offer classes that are smaller in size so that all ages and fitness levels can experience hands-on coaching and technique correction from our XFit Sport coaches to assure your individual success.
What is XFit Sport?
XFit Sport is a strength and conditioning program that delivers fitness that is designed to be broad, general and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. The XFit Sport program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We use our program for EVERYONE, from high level athletes to the elderly. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change the program. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind.
How do I get started?
In order to participate in Open Classes, you need to go through XFit Sport Fundamentals training of the program. Fundamentals consists of 4, one-hour small group sessions that will teach you the movements and exercises that will be utilized during XFit Sport classes. Having a solid grasp of these fundamental movements is critical to your success in a XFit Sport Open class. Once you master these exercises and have been checked off by one of our XFit Sport coaches, you will be ready to jump into a Gainey Village XFit Sport Open class.

Alissa earned her Masters Degree in Sports Biomechanics from Ball State University. Alissa graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science.
