Tennis at Ocotillo Village

The Ocotillo Village in Chandler boasts 7 post-tension lighted tennis courts. Nestled next to Ocotillo Village’s pools, these lakeside courts are home to tennis tournaments, junior programs and private lessons with PTR-certified professionals that make the Village tennis culture one of the best in the Southwest. Village Choice and Ocotillo Village members have access to our tennis courts at no extra charge.

Village Functional Interval Training for Tennis

Participating in a proper, tennis-specific workout program is an important component that every player should be doing in addition to matches, lessons and hitting sessions.

Out V-FITT program is a circuit training class that will incorporate tennis-specific exercises to increase your strength, power, speed and quickness using ladder drills, plyometrics, medicine balls, TRX, resistance bands and weights. Within a few weeks you’ll begin to see improvements in your tennis game.

Class times: Monday and Wednesday at 11:00 am (days and times subject to change)
Cost: $200/month for eight sessions

Saturday Challenge Court

Tennis at the VillageCome challenge doubles and singles drop-in. Winners move up and 2nd place finishers move down.

Saturdays 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Flex Singles Leagues

Tennis at the VillageNo one else to control but you! Flex leagues are great as you will play as many of the players in your group in a 6 week time period. You schedule the matches based on yours and your opponents schedules.

Men’s & Women’s 3.0-3.5

Men’s & Women’s 4.0-4.5
Men’s & Women’s 4.5-5.0

Ocotillo Village Tennis Programs

ROGY Junior Tennis Program

The Ocotillo Village ROGY Junior Tennis Program is set up with age, strength and skills specific to the athlete. Each class will be based on the ball used, Red, Orange, Green and Yellow (ROGY).

Ball Machine Clinics

Offered to players of all skill levels. Work on different strokes, like forehands and backhands, volleys, and combinations of them all. The difference with these clinics is the pro is on your side of the net. You’ll also learn how to best use the ball machine for your personal use.

First Fridays Mixed Up Tennis

Every first Friday of the month we invite adults of all abilities to come out and play some tennis, allowing players of all types to compete for fun and meet a lot of players. Players do not need a partner.
First Friday of each month, 6:30 p.m.

Strategy of the week

Live ball clinic that offers different strategies for both doubles and singles each week. Learn how to poach and switch, lob and attack, stick and move, and 2×1 or 3×1 singles. If you would like to play but don’t know who to contact, our match finding service is a perfect way to meet new players. This is a great for busy individuals or those who are new to the club.
